Conveniently located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Loews Regency New York Hotel is the only luxury hotel on Park Avenue north of 42nd Street. Guests treating their moms to the classic Mother’s Day brunch will be greeted by the hotel’s signature Floral Cart pop-up, where they can purchase large and small bouquets of spring flowers.

Executive Chef Manjit Manohar helms the kitchen at The Regency Bar & Grill, where the all-day, a la carte brunch menu (served from 11 AM to 6 PM) includes seasonal specials such as Maine Lobster Benedict and Celeriac Carpaccio in addition to the restaurant’s signature brunch offerings.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Dowling’s at The Carlyle

35 E. 76th Street

Built in 1930, the storied Carlyle, a Rosewood Hotel, is on the Upper East Side, just steps from museums and Central Park. The art deco-inspired boutique property, as does its intimate fine-dining restaurant, Dowling’s at The Carlyle, exudes sophistication and charm. More than 200 pieces of artwork line the walls.

On Mother’s Day from 11 AM to 2 PM, The Carlyle will offer a pre-fixe brunch for groups of 2 to 6 for $170 per person. Culinary Director Sylvain Delpique’s menu at the fine-dining restaurant includes a mix of New York favorites and throwback dishes, such as Housemade Smoked Salmon, Green Circle Chicken Pot Pie, Lemon Ricotta Short Stack, Butter and Maple Croque Madame, and Peach Cobbler with vanilla ice cream.

MIDTOWN

Mother’s Day Brunch at Parker’s at Thompson Central Park

119 West 56th Street

Thompson Central Park in Midtown Manhattan is a New York classic renovated in November 2021. The hotel is conveniently located close to Carnegie Hall, the Museum of Modern Art, Radio City Music Hall, and an entrance to Central Park. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Parker’s, is named after jazz great Charlie Parker, a nod to the hotel’s past as the Great Northern Hotel that once hosted jazz legends.

The new head chef at Parker’s, Chef David Joo, joined the team from Peninsular New York. Mother’s Day Brunch will be celebrated from 11 AM to 4 PM with live music from noon to 3 PM. The prix fixe menu choices include Duck and Waffle, Lox and Caviar, Truffled Eggs, Corned Beef Hash, Lobster Frittata, and Chocolate Ganache Tartlet, priced at $70 for adults and $55 for kids. Guests can also make their own Mimosas at the popular Bubble Bar (priced separately).

Mother’s Day High Tea at Nubeluz at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Nomad

25 West 28th Street

Take the elevator up to the 50th floor of The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, which only opened in 2002. The rooftop cocktail bar, Nubeluz, was envisioned as a lightbox in the sky by renowned architect Rafael Viñoly and brought to life by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. This modern, quintessential New York Space offers expansive views of the New York Skyline.

Mother’s Day coincides with the introduction of Jose Andres High Tea menu, featuring loose-leaf teas alongside sweet and savory offerings, like Lemon or Blueberry Scones, Truffled Grilled Cheese, and Caviar Steamed Buns—plus options for caviar, Champagne and classic cocktails. Children will delight in curated bites and fruity, herbal teas.

Brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM to 3:30 PM for $130 per adult and $60 per child, including one glass of Champagne.

Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch at The Bar at Baccarat Hotel

From 11:30 AM to 4 PM on Mother’s Day, guests will enjoy a welcome glass of champagne, followed by an inspired four-course menu showcasing traditional brunch favorites such as Eggs Benedict and omelets, as well as specialty selections which include Croque Madame and Roasted Branzino. Weather permitting, al fresco dining will be offered on the bar’s adjacent terrace, Le Jardin. Adding a special touch, each guest will receive a personalized Mother’s Day keepsake gift from the hotel’s guest illustrator. The fixed price menu is $225 per person.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Le Pavillon at One Vanderbilt

One Vanderbilt isn’t a hotel but is the home of the Summit One Vanderbilt, an immersive experience in Midtown. Le Pavillon, Chef Daniel Boulud’s Michelin-starred restaurant, is at the building’s base. It derives its French name from that of a festive gathering place surrounded by nature. Designed by Isay Weinfeld, the glass dining room with soaring ceilings on the second floor of the 73-story skyscraper has the feel of a garden with lush greenery, olive trees, and foliage.

The seafood and vegetable-focused three-course brunch menu, served between 11 AM and 2:30 PM, includes delicacies such as Soft Scrambled Eggs with Caviar, Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Butter-poached Maine Lobster, Wasabi-glazed Ribeye, and more. Mother’s Day Brunch is $165 per person. Guests can also opt for a four-course dinner between 4 PM and 8 PM.

Brunch at Gaby Brasserie Francaise at Sofitel New York

Situated in midtown Manhattan, Sofitel New York is close to Broadway theaters and the shops on Fifth Avenue. Highlights of the three-course menu that starts at $85 per person include Ossetra Caviar, Lobster Omelet, White Asparagus ‘Cacio e Pepe,’ Braised Lamb Shank, Hummingbird cake, and more.
