A new frozen dish combines two of the food brand’s top products, lasagna and Mac & Cheese, to create a brand new franken-pasta: LasagnaMac.
In this specialty dish, creamy, cheesy Stouffer’s macaroni and cheese will be stacked between savory layers of lasagna with meat and sauce, to create the ultimate comfort food experience.
If you’re salivating, don’t run straight to the frozen food aisle: Stouffer’s LasagnaMac is a limited time promotional item, and will only be available online in Summer 2021. The exclusive product is more of a marketing scheme than an actual pasta dish to stock up on in the supermarket. A limited number of fans will have a chance to try the illusive product, and are encouraged to follow @stouffers on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to learn more about chances to indulge in LasagnaMac.
“Bringing together two of our best-selling products is a simple way to express the intent of our new marketing campaign, Happyfull,” said Megan McLaughlin, brand marketing manager at Stouffer’s. “We worked to create a recipe that will make our fans feel both happy and full. LasagnaMac is a great example of how of our innovation is anchored in consumer obsession – and not to mention, it’s incredibly delicious.”
Who knows, maybe a huge demand for the mashup product will lead to a wider release. Or, more likely, the exclusive LasagnaMac may go the way of Supreme Oreos, which reached five-figure bids on eBay shortly after they were released.
