DGA Awards Sets Date For 2025 Ceremony

The Directors Guild of America said Thursday that it will hold its 77th annual DGA Awards on February 8, 2025 at the Beverly Hilton.

The awards’ timeline, which includes voting schedules, key deadlines and a nominations date, are still in the works.

The 2025 film awards season is taking shape after the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences set the Oscars for March 2.

The DGA Awards traditionally are made up of 11 competitive categories across film, TV and commercials.

The 2023 DGA Awards, held this past February 20, saw Christopher Nolan win the guild’s marquee Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Theatrical Film Award for directing Oppenheimer. He went on to take the Best Director prize at the Oscars, where his film won a leading six Oscars altogether including Best Picture.
