Broccoli stalks 2
Chicken 200g
Red chilli powder 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric / Haldi 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Nutmeg powder 1/4th tsp
Mace powder 1/4th tsp
Small / green cardamom powder 1/4th tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Ghee 2 tbsp
Water 800ml approx.
Ingredients to be added after blending:
Xanthan gum 1tbsp
Ginger 10 g
Green chillies 3
Ingredients for tempering / tadka:
Sliced onions 1 small
Ghee 3 tbsp
Garnishing:

Fry chicken in ghee with ginger and garlic paste , add roughly chopped broccoli stalk , red chilli powder, salt , coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric , mace powder , nutmeg powder and green cardamom powder.
Give a splash of water to avoid spices from burning , mix well and add approx. 800 ml of water, cover and let it cook n medium flame for 30-40 minutes.
Take out chicken pieces , discard the bones and shred the chicken.
Put the shredded chicken back in pot along with 3 green chillies and 10g of ginger , blend everything together with the help of hand blender.
Add a tablespoon of xanthan gum and mix to get rid of any lumps , keep cooking it for further 5 minutes.
Prepare tempering by melting ghee in a pan and fry some sliced onions in it , take the onions out when they are brown and pour the hot ghee on Haleem.
Haleem or spicy chicken and broccoli soup is ready to serve.
