Police are searching for two suspects involved in a brazen liquor store burglary early Thursday morning that left the shop’s storefront completely destroyed.

The incident occurred at SDV Liquor Market, located at 8301 Foothill Boulevard in Sunland, at around 3:30 a.m., according to the news stringer service OnScene.TV.

Security cameras at the store captured the incident as two men in a dark-colored pickup truck reversed through the shop’s steel security gate, shattering the glass front door and even knocking the door out of its frame.

Moments after the truck pulled forward out of the shop, one masked intruder charges through the destroyed entrance, quickly followed by the driver of the truck. Both men began stealing high-end liquor kept on shelves behind the store’s counter and loading it into the back of the truck.

Even as the shop’s alarm was blaring, the thieves made several trips in and out of the store before finally fleeing the area before police arrived.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded and took a report from the store’s owner, who told OnScene.TV that the liquor is not insured, and he will be at a loss for not just the merchandise, but for damages to the shop as well.
