All eight bulls ran from the rodeo Sunday afternoon, leaping over fences as they ran through a parking lot, a statement from the department said. In a video taken at the rodeo, one person can be heard shouting “Everybody at the entrance, move” as bystanders hurry away from the animals.

Auhtorities quickly caught one bull, while rodeo workers and North Attleborough authorities searched for the remaining seven, the statement said. Authorities said they later caught six bulls around 4:30 p.m. at a home on Prescott Street on Sunday.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, said rodeos like the one in North Attleborough “put animal torment at center stage.” A statement from the organization said there have been two other similar incidents with bulls this year, one at a rodeo in Oregon and one at a county fair in Utah.
