AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department is investigating a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in southeast Austin, the agency said on social media.

Shortly after 9 p.m., APD said it responded to the crash in the 6100 block of East Stassney Lane, which is near Burleson Road. Police said the westbound lanes of East Stassney Lane are shut down and drivers are urged to avoid the area or seek an alternate route.
