Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez did not make their red carpet debut at last night’s Emmys, but the couple still had a public date night at the awards show. Blanco sat next to Gomez during the ceremony. At several points, they were filmed together during the broadcast:

A photographer inside the show captured one particularly sweet moment of them that was not shown on TV: Blanco kissing Gomez’s cheek. Gomez shared the same photo in a carousel of photos from her Emmys night.

“Thank you so much to the Emmy’s for our recognition! We are so grateful @hulu @onlymurdershulu @ralphlauren,” she wrote. Her boyfriend left a simple comment on her post: “omg !!!”

Gomez was nominated for her very first Emmy Award, for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, this year. While she didn’t win last night, she was able to show her excellent comedic timing onstage while presenting with her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short. At one point, she even wove in a “childless cat lady” joke in a nod to her friend Taylor Swift, who recently used Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance’s 2021 insult while proudly signing off her endorsement of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

Gomez and Blanco have been dating for a little over a year now. They went public with their relationship this past December.

Earlier this month, Gomez spoke to Vanity Fair about their life together. “I’ve never been loved this way,” she said. “He’s just been a light. A complete light in my life. He’s my best friend. I love telling him everything.”
