An almost fall-like weekend is ahead for the Chicago area.

Saturday will see mostly sunny skies, breezy conditions and cooler temps. Some showers are possible for Northwest Indiana. High of 65. 

Saturday night will be mostly clear and chilly, especially away from Lake Michigan. Low 48

Sunday will be sunny and milder. High 73

Extended outlook calls for abundant late-summer sunshine and no widespread precipitation. Each day we look to stairstep our temps back into the 80s and by the mid to late week could end up near 90 degrees again.
