Chicagoans participated in the annual Bike the Drive fundraiser on Sept. 1, 2024, for the Active Transportation Alliance. The ride is a 30-mile course along DuSable Lake Shore Drive with a post-ride festival held at Grant Park. The Active Transportation Alliance is a non-profit advocacy group that works to improve conditions for walking, biking, and public transit throughout Chicagoland.
