For the third time in August, human bones were discovered near the water in Brooklyn Bridge Park Saturday, police said.

Around 7 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported bone fragments were found in the rocks next to the water in the Dumbo park, an NYPD spokesperson said Sunday.

On Aug. 19 a human skull was discovered near Jane’s carousel, according to police. Two days later, a fragment of a leg bone was discovered in the same area.

Police say they suspect all the bones belonged to the same individual.

The city’s Medical Examiner was at the scene Saturday and is testing all of the bone fragments.
