Charli XCX to Star in New Movie I Want Your Sex

Charli XCX has joined the cast of the forthcoming Gregg Araki movie I Want Your Sex. She’ll star alongside Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman. The Brat musician’s role is not yet known, but here is the movie’s synopsis:

When fresh-faced Elliot lands an exciting job for renowned artist, icon and provocateur Erika Tracy (Wilde), his fantasies come true as Erika taps him to become her sexual muse. But Elliot soon finds himself out of his depth as Erika takes him on a journey more profound than he ever could have imagined, into a world of sex, obsession, power, betrayal and murder.

Charli XCX has voiced characters for animated films—namely, The Angry Birds Movie and UglyDolls—but she’s slated to making her feature film acting debut in Faces of Death, which went into production last year in New Orleans. According to Deadline, production on I Want Your Sex will begin in Los Angeles in October.
