CHICAGO — Late-night TV host and comedian Stephen Colbert is officially in Chicago, and seemingly enjoying his time, as the Democratic National Conventional prepares to kick off at the United Center on Monday.

Colbert stopped by Wrigley Field on Friday as the Cubs faced off against the Toronto Blue Jays. He had the honor of throwing out the first pitch and singing the 7th Inning Stretch.

On Saturday, the talk show host was spotted at the city’s infamous The Wieners Circle on North Clark Street.

The hot dog stand shared a photo of Colbert at the restaurant on “X” with the caption: “After throwing up in our parking lot in 2019, as told by Amy Sedaris on ⁦@SmartLess⁩, @StephenAtHome⁩ redeemed himself today. Watch us on his show Monday night!”

Colbert’s “The Late Show” will be broadcasting LIVE from the Auditorium Theatre, 50 East Ida B. Wells Drive, Monday through Thursday.

Democrats will host their nominating convention in Chicago August 19-22. Chicago has hosted Democrats 12 times, the last being nearly 30 years ago when President Bill Clinton was nominated for a second term.
