As the result of money problems following the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes last summer, “Pose” star Billy Porter has been forced to list his suburban New York home.

The beloved performer — who has won a Grammy, an Emmy and multiple Tonys, and has long been known for show-stopping red carpet looks — recently listed the luxe Bellport Village, Long Island abode he bought with his now ex-husband Adam Smith. And it comes as a financial necessity after experiencing financial fallout from the 118-day-long protests.

The residence asks $2.5 million, TMZ first reported. The former couple, who announced their split last year, paid $1.4 million for it in 2020.

“I have to sell my house,” the 54-year-old actor and singer told the Evening Standard in August, when both strikes were ongoing. “Because we’re on strike. And I don’t know when we’re gonna go back [to work]. The life of an artist, until you make f— you money — which I haven’t made yet — is still check-to-check.”

Although he’d been scheduled for work, including a new movie and a new television show once slated to start in September, “None of that is happening. So to the person who said ‘we’re going to starve them out until they have to sell their apartments,’” he said, referencing a widely reported quote attributed to an anonymous Hollywood executive, “you’ve already starved me out.”

“With 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and 1.1 acres of beautifully manicured grounds, this property offers complete privacy and unparalleled access to the unique amenities of a vibrant beach community that’s got everything from a ferry ride to HoHum Beach to golf and tennis at the Bellport Country Club,” says the listing.

Highlights of the residence include a natural light-filled entry hall, an eat-in kitchen with custom built-ins, a home gym, a screened porch with outdoor seating and a woodburning fireplace in the living room.

It’s all located 70 miles from New York City, and spreads across 4,500 square feet.

There’s also a formal dining room looking out onto the backyard — and a primary bedroom with an ensuite sitting room, an office area and dual bathrooms. On the grounds, there’s also a heated lap pool, a three-car garage and a tree house.
