A group of five men allegedly attacked three men in the area of F Street and Tudor Street March 17, ending in all three victims being taken to the hospital.

Two men were arraigned and another is being sought by police for their alleged involvement in an aggravated assault in South Boston on St. Patrick’s Day that left three people in the hospital.

John Dunkle and Matthew Sullivan, both 36, were arraigned in Boston Municipal Court Monday, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said in a statement. There is an arrest warrant out for Joseph Dunkle.

The trio was reportedly part of five people who attacked three men at about 4:40 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, the Boston Police Department said last month. The attack occurred in the area of F Street and Tudor Street.

The victims said they were attacked “out of no where,” according to a police report. One victim said he was pushed to the ground and “continuously stomped on,” leaving a large red mark and swelling in his temple and “swelling and deformation” to his foot, the report read.

A second victim said he was punched in the face, and a third victim was “spitting out large clumps of blood,” according to the police report.

All three victims were taken to a local hospital.

Police have not identified all of the people involved in the attack, but described one as a white man who is about 30-40 years old. He is approximately 5’11” and 200 pounds. He had a full beard and was wearing aviator sunglasses, a flat brim black Celtics hat, a black and green “Tatum” Celtics jersey and jeans, police said.

John Dunkle, of South Boston, is charged with six counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, assault with a dangerous weapon, impersonating a police officer, and disorderly conduct, the DA’s office said. He was ordered held on $3,000 bail and is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing July 8.

Sullivan, of Mattapan, is charged with two counts of assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, impersonating a police officer, and disorderly conduct. He was ordered held on $1,500 bail and is also set to appear in court July 8.

Joseph Dunkle is facing charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery causing seriously bodily injury, and disorderly conduct, according to the DA’s office.

St. Patrick’s Day this year left a city councilor calling for “major changes” to the South Boston parade as arrests and disorderly conduct marred some of the celebrations. Ten people were arrested, Boston police said, and many residents took to Boston 311 to complain about the mess and disorder in the wake of the parade.
