It was a stormy, windy and very warm Tuesday throughout Chicagoland.
It’s still pretty windy early Wednesday morning, with a westerly breeze well over 30 miles per hour in some areas, but that will calm down as the day goes along. The breeze will continue from the west, but it will decrease, along with the cloud cover.
Early-morning temps were still in the low 70s in Northwest Indiana and into the 60s elsewhere, and increasing sunshine Wednesday will lead to pleasant temperatures in the mid-70s during the afternoon, with much less humidity than Monday and Tuesday.
Thursday looks similar, with temps reaching near 80, though cooler lakeside. The next chance for scattered showers and storms looks to be Friday mid-afternoon into the evening.
Then, the Memorial Day weekend forecast is looking pretty nice, though it’ll likely cool a bit into the upper 60s and lower 70s.
