Cat Holds Owner’s Phone So She Can Scroll: ‘His Love Language’

US

A Siamese cat has left the internet in stitches for holding his owner’s phone with his chin so she can scroll on her phone while lying in bed.

Siamese cats are highly intelligent and affectionate felines who are considered to be the extroverts of the cat world, according to Purina, a cat food brand.

One helpful kitty companion showed he was no exception to this rule after his owner shared how he helps her comfortably have a late night TikTok scroll without developing an arm ache.

Frances, (@frances2857) from New York City, shared hilarious footage which has amassed 6.2 million views of her lying in her bed with her cat on top of her holding her phone upwards against her so she can scroll on TikTok before going to sleep.

Frances shared in the caption: “He’s working late! My little espresso phone prince (he does this by himself every night lol).”

The TikToker made reference to the hit Sabrina Carpenter song “Espresso” which became a viral sensation on the app.

Commenters were left in awe of the cat’s practical abilities and other Siamese cat owners shared similar tales.

Cee said: “I have a Siamese cat too and she does the exact same thing.”

Melissa commented: “His love language: acts of service.”

A love language is defined as a specific individual’s need from a relationship, there are five, they include: acts of service, quality time, words of affirmation, physical touch and receiving gifts, according to Verywell Mind, a mental health publication.

The Siamese delivers his devoted act of service every night, according to his owner.

Katarina Rose said: “What a helpful king.”

Aji said: “It’s his exercise to define his jawline.”

In May 2022, another Siamese cat went viral for standing up like a meerkat in their owner’s bathroom.

The funny footage amassed 2.5 million likes and Beth Anne labeled her pet a “demon”.

Another Siamese cat called Mashu went viral for adopting a stray kitten as her own when she was nursing her litter.
