A Pasadena man fought back against an armed home invasion robber, got the culprit’s pocket knife and stabbed him on Wednesday night, May 15, authorities said.

The robber and his accomplice apparently left empty-handed.

The 19-year-old resident was also injured; he had cuts to his stomach and arms, according to Pasadena police Lt. Matt Campeau. Firefighters treated him at the scene.

The home invasion robbery happened in the 1200 block of Solita Road around 8:50 p.m. Police have not yet determined how the robbers got inside the home.

The resident told police he was home when he saw one man ransacking the place, Campeau said.
