SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — President Biden is back in the Bay Area for a series of campaign events on Friday, but he will likely be greeted by protesters.
The White House has not disclosed the location of either fundraiser but it is believed one is in Portola Valley and the other in the South Bay.
There will be a demonstration from pro-Palestinian activists calling on the President to stop supplying military aid to Israel. This comes as Biden said he might halt more weapons shipments if Israel invades the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

ABC7 News spoke with political science experts who say this region of the country is very wealthy and strong donations help win elections.
“It’s cliché but we are the nation’s piggy bank for these campaigns there’s a lot of people here with a lot of money and a lot of interest of who wins these elections,” Menlo College Political Science Professor Melissa Michelson said. “Campaign donations are a way of showing how well you’re doing it’s almost like people are voting with their dollars.”
First Lady Jill Biden was also in the Bay Area Thursday, visiting Marin County before heading to Southern California Friday.
