DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. — A 65-year-old woman is dead after a hit and run in Downers Grove overnight.
Police said the incident happened around 9:00 p.m. Friday night as she was crossing Ogden Avenue. The 65-year-old woman was hit by a dark, small to mid-size Honda or Acura SUV.
The woman died on the scene in the 600 block of Ogden Avenue. The victim’s name has not been released yet.
