AUSTIN (KXAN) — From birthday events and anniversaries to everything in between, Austinites will soon have a new way to ring in special occasions with behind-the-scenes tours of the Moody Center, the venue shared online.

Tickets for the 75-minute tours go on sale May 13 at 10 a.m. CT. Once available, tours will be offered every other Thursday in June, July and early August at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Attendees will get an up-close look at back-of-house artist hallways, dressing rooms and the specialty Moët & Chandon Imperial Lounge. The tours will also cover how the venue is designed to transform from a University of Texas at Austin basketball home court to a concert venue, per the release.

In addition to the touring experience, guests can also choose to have a marquee on the self concourse transformed to include a personal message.

Once tickets are purchased online, guests can download the Moody Center’s app to add them to attendees’ digital wallets. Only digital tickets are accepted.

More details on the tour are available online.
