OSWEGO, Ill. — Oswego police said the body of a man who was missing since March 2022 has been found in Chicago.

Edward Gardner, of Bolingbrook, was reported missing to the Oswego Police Department in March 2022. His family reported him missing on March 14 and said he was last seen in Chicago on March 13.

One day before on March 12, family members said Gardner, who was 22 at the time, was last seen at his home in Bolingbrook.

Oswego police previously said his car, a 2021 white Dodge Charger with a Florida license plate, was involved in a crash on March 29, 2022, in Hammond, Indiana and the people inside ran.

Police said they don’t believe Gardner was one of the occupants.
