Amber Alert: Man sought in abduction of 1-year-old in Los Angeles County

An Amber Alert was issued overnight for a child abduction out of Los Angeles County.

Law enforcement is searching for 46-year-old Wesley Williams who is suspected of taking 1-year-old Weston Landrum, according to the California Highway Patrol who posted the alert shortly after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Williams was last seen on North Grand Avenue in West Covina on Monday around 9 p.m.

Officials said Williams was driving a white 2014 Toyota Tacoma with California plate 75001B3.

Details surrounding the abduction were not provided but the child was described as having blond hair and blue eyes and was wearing camouflage pants and a gray shirt with a picture of a “bunny,” according to the CHP.

Weston stands just 3 feet tall and weighs about 20 pounds.

Williams is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 190 pounds.

He has brown hair and blue eyes and was wearing a Hawaiian shirt, blue jeans, gray/blue shoes and has a wing tattoo on the front of his neck.

Any relationship between the child and Williams was not provided.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts was asked to call 911.
