A look like this truly happens once upon a dream.

Ariana Grande took her goddess vibes up a level while performing inside the 2024 Met Gala, thanks to an outfit change.

Despite initially arriving at the event in a mother of pearl-covered strapless gown from Loewe, the singer, 30, chose to change her outfit before hitting the stage to fully commit to the “Sleeping Beauties” theme of the night.

Decked out in a sparkly, sheer Maison Margiela by John Galliano ensemble that was a mix of green, blue, and purple colors, the singer sang to the crowd at the benefit dinner, performing hits such as “Into You,” “Yes, And,” and “Seven Rings” after a dramatic entrance while singing “Once Upon a Dream” from “Sleeping Beauty.”

The pint-sized popstar kept the same face accents around her cheeks and stuck with her signature long ponytail for both the red carpet and the performance, adding a ribbon bow once inside.

The Loewe design also featured a long, pleated skirt.

Grande gave insight into her look the following day, taking to Instagram to share photos and videos of the piece.

“had the honor and most special time performing at @metmuseum in @maisonmargiela by the one and only, most brilliant angel of all @jgalliano (how i wept in our fitting !!!!)…” she wrote. “working on this performance was an experience i will cherish forever.”

The star went on to the thank Vogue’s Anna Wintour, Baz Luhrmann, her dancers, and more working behind-the-scenes before focusing on her “Wicked” costar Cynthia Erivo, who joined Grande onstage for a powerful rendition of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston’s “When You Believe.”

The “Supernatural” singer’s pipes were extra impressive due to the corset she wore underneath the sheer overlay — though it didn’t quite cinch her waist as much as Kim Kardashian’s impossibly tight Margiela look from the same collection.

The Met Gala marked a change for the former Nickelodeon star, who has been leaning into her “Wicked” character when it comes to fashion as of late, often wearing all-pink outfits in an homage to Glinda the Good Witch.

She even attended the Oscars in a poufy, pink ballgown, and arrived at CinemaCon in a mini dress that featured an oversized blush flower.

We can’t wait to see how her fashion blooms as the musical movie hits theaters this fall.
