A police officer has been hospitalized following an early morning crash Monday in Covina.
The incident was reported shortly after 4 a.m. at Shoppers Lane and East Rowland Street.
First responders found a police officer was injured in the crash.
The unidentified officer was transported in unknown condition to a local hospital, a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol confirmed to KTLA.
Aerial video from Sky5 showed the Covina Police Department patrol vehicle was badly damaged on the passenger side.
No details about the cause of the collision were immediately available.
