A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition on Monday after being stabbed on a busy commercial block in Harlem, according to police.
NYPD officials said the 28-year-old victim was stabbed once in the chest around 9:30 a.m. on West 125th Street near Fifth Avenue, in front of a shopping center. First responders took him to Harlem Hospital with severe injuries.
Police said they were looking for a male suspect who is about 5’10” and was wearing a brown vest, black pants and a black face mask.
The officials said they did not immediately know what led to the stabbing.
