Aurora police shoot, kill person suspected of shooting victim in leg

Aurora police officers shot and killed a man who officials say was suspected of shooting a victim in the leg on Saturday night, according to a briefing by Aurora Police Chief Heather R. Morris posted on X.

Around 7:45 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of East 14th Avenue and Clinton Street, according to the brief. A victim had been shot in the leg and the suspect was leaving the scene in a red Ford Mustang, officials say.
