WNYC will cohost New Jersey Senate Democratic primary debate on May 13

New Jersey’s Democratic primary candidates for the U.S. Senate will take part in a debate moderated by WNYC’s “Morning Edition” host Michael Hill on Monday, May 13 at the South Orange Performing Arts Center.

Candidates Patricia Campos-Medina, Larry Hamm, and Rep. Andy Kim will be questioned on critical issues facing the state. The event begins at 6 p.m., with video livestreamed at wnyc.org. The debate is free and open to the public, but registration at SOPAC.com is required.

It will be broadcast at 8 p.m. on 93.9 FM, and audio will also be streamed at wnyc.org.

“Vote Your Values: 2024 New Jersey Democratic Senate Primary Debate” is hosted by the ACLU of New Jersey, the League of Women Voters of New Jersey, and Salvation and Social Justice, in partnership with WNYC/New Jersey Public Radio. (Gothamist and WNYC are both owned by New York Public Radio.)

The New Jersey Democratic primary is scheduled for June 4, 2024.
