Boy, 16, among 3 shot in Humboldt Park: police – Chicago Tribune

Three people, including a 16-year-old boy, were wounded in a shooting early Monday afternoon in Humboldt Park, according to police.

Police said the teen and two men were near a sidewalk on the 1200 block of North Keeler Avenue around 1 p.m. when someone opened fire.

One man, 28, was shot in the stomach and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital. A second man, 30, was also shot in the stomach and taken to St. Mary’s Hospital. Police said both were reported in critical condition while the boy was struck in the leg and listed in good condition at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Police said no one was in custody and that area detectives were investigating the shooting.
