2 killed in plane crash in Elkhart County, Indiana

ELKHART, Ill. — Two people were killed in a plane crash Tuesday in Elkhart County, Indiana, according to the sheriff’s office.

The plane crash was reported around 2:20 p.m. Eastern in the 5200 block of County Road 21 in Bristol.

In a news release, the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office said two people were on the airplane and died.

Their identities haven’t been released.

Several agencies are investigating and assisting, including the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
