Saturday marks Day 3 of pro-Palestinian demonstrations at Stanford University. Here’s a closer look at the school’s ties and students’ demands.

A newly formed group at SF State called “Faculty for Justice in Palestine” issued a Statement of Support for Student Protests.

It’s urging the administration to do three things:

  • Refrain from dispatching police forces against potential student demonstrations
  • Refrain from academic retaliation against students
  • Respect students’ right to protest on campus

This comes as a demonstration continues at Stanford and UC Berkeley, where students have set up tent encampments.
