AUSTIN (KXAN) – Austin Police launched a homicide investigation after a person was shot and killed at a North Austin apartment complex Sunday night.
According to APD, officers got the call about the shooting at the Villas Del Sol apartment complex on Rutland Drive around 8:40 p.m.
That is near Metric Boulevard and West Rundberg Lane. This is Austin’s 18th homicide this year.
APD said no one was in custody as of early Monday morning.
