Anti-Israel protesters draped a massive Palestinian flag over the side of the Washington D.C. Hilton where President Biden is expected to speak at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner Saturday night, video shows.
Footage from the scene shows the crowd of demonstrators cheering after the flag unfurled from one of the hotel’s top floors.
Biden is expected to take the stage at the black-tie dinner to crack jokes with journalists and celebrities.
It’s a major platform in which he’ll have the opportunity to make a vital pitch to voters ahead of the 2024 elections while his approval rating is a historic low.
