Squatters still refuse to leave Gordon Ramsay’s $16.1M London

The kitchen may be closed, but things are still heating up.

A group of squatters holed up in renowned chef Gordon Ramsay’s London pub were still hunkered down inside Saturday — despite court papers indicating they need to move on.

The squatters locked themselves inside the for-sale York & Albany gastropub in Camden on April 13, claiming they were entitled to remain there because it wasn’t a residential building.

But a High Court order put the property back in the possession of Ramsay’s firm, with a legal notice left for the interlopers.

Some started departing Friday, but others vowed to stay put in the $16.1 million pub, The Sun reported Saturday.

One claimed to have “made a deal” with the building’s owner, “not Ramsay.”

“We’re still here, and we’re going to carry on staying here. We’re going to be security for him,” one told the outlet.

“They’re going to wait for the bailiff. That’s basically what they’re going to end up doing,” a friend of someone staying inside added.

York & Albany had been closed when the squatters took over as the “Hell’s Kitchen” host worked to sign over to new partners in a multimillion-dollar deal.

“The pub was temporarily closed while he was finalizing a new lease, and during this handover period, a gang of professional squatters somehow bypassed all the security and CCTV, and got themselves in,” a source previously told the US Sun.

The occupiers ran a cafe out of the pub, giving away free food and drinks “to anyone and everyone, particularly the people of Camden who have been victims of gentrification and parasitic projects,” the collective said in an Instagram post.

The group had been using Ramsay’s kitchen appliances to barricade itself inside.

The squatters, who did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment via Instagram, posted on the social media platform Wednesday that it was “sad” to leave the building, but hoped “to be a part of the community again soon.”

A spokesman for Ramsay didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
