US

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Central Texas’ famous barbecue joint Terry Black’s just opened a new location in Waco. It’s the company’s fourth restaurant location.

Terry Black, the man behind what could now be considered a growing chain of restaurants, was born and raised in Lockhart, where the original location still remains.

According to the Terry Black’s website, his children Christina, Michael and Mark have now expanded the family business into Waco.

Aside from the original Lockhart location and the new Waco spot, there are also locations in Dallas and Austin.

Terry Black’s often lands on “best barbecue” lists and its Austin location is guaranteed to bring crowds to its Barton Springs spot regularly.

A post on the restaurant’s Instagram page said the Waco location opened Friday, April 19.
