Bravo Denies Rumors That Andy Cohen Is Leaving The Network: “Absolutely No Truth To This Story”

US

Don’t worry, Bravo fans, Andy Cohen isn’t going anywhere.

The network addressed recent rumors that Cohen is in the process of “negotiating a departure package” at Bravo.

A spokesperson for the reality network told Deadline, “There is absolutely no truth to this story and [the publication’s] source obviously has no clue about the situation.”

The report from In Touch magazine claimed that Cohen is allegedly planning to part ways with Bravo amid “failing ratings.”

A source told the outlet, “Negotiations for Cohen’s departure package are underway as he grapples with the fallout from mounting accusations by his stars.”

The report noted that a publicist for Bravo and NBC also denied the rumors.

Cohen has made himself a fixture at Bravo. His late night talk show Watch What Happens Live has been on the air since 2009, and he’s served as an executive producer on several series of the Real Housewives franchise.

But the Bravo star recently found himself in hot water with some of the former Real Housewives he used to work with.

Real Housewives of New York City alum Leah McSweeney recently sued Cohen and Bravo, alleging that he “engages in cocaine use with Housewives and other ‘Bravolebrities’ that he employs” and rewards those who used cocaine with “more favorable treatment and edits.”

Cohen’s legal team sent a letter to McSweeney’s, claiming that her lawsuit “littered with false, offensive, and defamatory statements.”

Lisa Vanderpump also came to his defense.  “I know for a fact he wouldn’t do that,” she said of Cohen. She also said she doesn’t know him to be how Leah described.

For now, it looks like Cohen isn’t going anywhere.

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
