Jet stream flow buckles with a northwesterly flow blowing in from Canada and a lobe of chilly air makes its way into the Lower 48

Cooler overall pattern settles in the next week to ten days before above normal warmth encompasses much of the lower 48 in the final week of April except portions of the West.
