Blake Shelton got emotional when expressing how Gwen Stefani’s kids have changed him “in every possible way.”
After his performance at his new bar Ole Red Las Vegas, on Wednesday, April 17, Shelton spoke about his relationship with his step-kids, Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 10.
“If I could have a repeat of these past 10 years, [that] would be perfect,” he told Entertainment Tonight, as he celebrated the 10-year anniversary of meeting Stefani. “Next month, we’ve got an 18-year-old, which it blows my mind that already happened. And in a couple of years, we’ll have another 18-year-old. And that’s… it’s gonna be I guess a lot more alone time, which I’m not mad about that either.”

He added, “But we still have Apollo, so we have another almost 10 years before we can kick him out, so it should be a lot of fun.”
When asked about his three stepkids and their impact on his outlook on life, he revealed that they have transformed him “in every possible way.”
Stefani and Shelton tied the knot in 2021. While Shelton didn’t have children with his former spouse Miranda Lambert, whom he was married to for four years, Stefani shares her three children with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, whom she was married to from 2002 to 2015.
“I learned quickly, not because anything happened, but just, you know, reading the room, you’ve really got [to think], ‘I have to take a step back,'” Shelton said about his role of a stepdad and how he has taken a selfless approach. “When people say it’s not about you anymore when you have a kid… I think, if you’re doing it right, it’s not about you anymore. That’s true.”
