ST. CHARLES, Ill. — A lieutenant firefighter who worked with the Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District has been found guilty of theft.

The Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office announced Friday that Greg M. Algrim was found guilty of multiple counts after prosecutors alleged he stole over $17,000 between August 2019 and September 2021.
