CHICAGO — The new sea otter pup at the Shedd Aquarium finally has a name.

Seldovia is the name of the six-month-old pup rescued after being found alone and malnourished along the coast of Seldovia Bay in Alaska last October.

The sea otter pup was then sent to Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium for a second chance at life.

Last month, the pup debuted inside the ‘Sea Otter Exhibit’ and is now on display for the public following months of care.

The Shedd Aquarium opens daily at 9 a.m.
