Diddy’s alleged ‘drug mule’ ID’d as ex-Syracuse basketball player

Diddy’s friend Brendan Paul, who allegedly handled the music mogul’s drugs and guns, was arrested Monday at a Miami airport on multiple drug charges, according to TMZ.

Paul, 25, a former college basketball player who spent two seasons with the Syracuse Orange from 2018-2020, was identified in Rodney Jones’ complaint as Diddy’s close confidant and personal drug “mule,” although Diddy has denied all of Jones’ claims thus far.

Police allegedly found multiple drugs on Paul when they searched his bags at Opa Locka Airport, including cocaine and marijuana candy, both considered to be felony possessions in Florida.

His luggage was inspected after law enforcement intercepted Diddy’s private plane at the airport. Officers said Paul admitted the travel bags belonged to him, according to an affidavit obtained by TMZ.

The 25-year-old from Shaker Heights, Ohio was booked the same day but has since made bail. He was brought into custody around the same time Homeland Security agents raided two of Diddy’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami.

There isn’t any evidence currently that the drugs found in Paul’s bags were connected to Diddy.

In the bombshell lawsuit filed by Jones last month, the producer and videographer accused Diddy a.k.a. Sean Combs of sexually harassing, drugging and threatening him, in addition to “providing laced alcoholic beverages to minors and sex workers.”

In the lawsuit, Jones named Paul and also included photos of Diddy with the former basketball player.

On Tuesday, Diddy adamantly denied any wrongdoing through his attorney Aaron Dyer, who said the raids on his properties were an “unprecedented ambush” and that “Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities.”
