A woman is in custody after allegedly stealing a U-Haul box truck and leading Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies in pursuit Thursday.

Shortly after the chase was initiated, the female suspect behind the wheel was seen driving in the Carson area.

In footage of the pursuit captured by Sky5, all four tires on the U-Haul were blown and the vehicle was moving at a slow rate of speed.

After stopping at a red light at East Compton and Avalon Boulevards, the woman bolted out of the truck and attempted to flee on foot.

As she ran down the street, she tried to open the door of a utility vehicle that was stopped in the street, but when the door didn’t open, the woman started running again.

She was tackled by deputies and taken into custody just moments later.
