Westbound I-70 reopens near Wheat Ridge for crash

Westbound Interstate 70 has reopened at Colorado 391 near Wheat Ridge after a crash shut down the road Friday morning.

The Colorado Department of Transportation announced the closure at 5:17 a.m. on X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter. The highway reopened at 6:19 a.m.

No further information about the crash causing the closure was available, but morning commuters were seeing a 27 minute delay as of 6:10 a.m., according to CDOT.

I-70’s CO-391 exit in Wheat Ridge is at mile marker 267.4.
