Another wedding may be on the horizon.
Martin Lawrence’s daughter Jasmin Lawrence caught the bouquet at Eddie Murphy’s daughter Bria Murphy’s nuptials with actor Michael Xavier on Saturday.
Eddie’s son Eric, who is dating Jasmin, celebrated his girlfriend’s win in a sweet Instagram post on Sunday.
“I am overwhelmed with joy celebrating my sister Bria, and her husband Michael’s wedding,” Eric, 33, captioned a photo with Jasmin, 26, and the newlyweds.
“I am so extremely happy for you both! Yesterday was such a beautiful day!! Special shout out to Jas for catching the bouquet 💐👀😉❤️.”
Jasmin and Eric went public with their relationship in June 2021 when he shared a selfie of the couple on Instagram.
“Head over heels in LOVE with YOU @jasmin_lawrence ❤️❤️❤️❤️ #myotherhalf #equallyyoked #iloveyou,” Eric wrote at the time.
Jasmin revealed in January that she and Eric met through her uncle.
“It wasn’t even our dads — and they’ve done two movies together, they’re friends,” she told InTouch Weekly.
Jasmin noted that she and Eric became close friends “because we bonded on a lot of things” and “understood each other on a certain level.”
“And over time, it just, you know, became more,” she added.
Jasmin went on to say that her boyfriend’s family is “absolutely” supportive of their relationship.
This proved to be true when Martin, 57, appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in June and shared that even though he and Eddie, 61, have not discussed their kids’ relationship and choose to “let them do their own thing,” he sees a wedding in the couple’s future.
“I’m gonna try to get Eddie to pay for it,” the “Bad Boys” star joked, saying he is willing to put aside the tradition of a bride’s parents paying for her wedding.
