Jimmy Garoppolo, Rolling Meadows’ favorite son, threw for 322 yards and ran for two touchdowns Sunday as his 49ers defeated the Bears 33-22 at Soldier Field.
Bears quarterback Justin Fields topped 100 yards rushing and ran in a touchdown to go along with 175 yards passing, one TD through the air and one interception. He also was sacked four times.
The Bears led 13-9 at halftime but gave up 18 points in the fourth quarter
