AUSTIN (KXAN) — We’re one week closer to the start of the UIL state playoffs. Teams across Texas are gearing up for the best time of the year — playoff football.
The first round of the state playoffs begins Nov. 12, meaning next week will be a pivotal week for seeding and district championships.
The 6A district races are coming down to the final week of football. Westlake and Lake Travis will meet next week for the crown.
Vandegrift, Round Rock and Cedar Ridge all have a shot at the district championship, pending next week’s results. Undefeated Vandegrift hosts one-loss Round Rock. One-loss Cedar Ridge hosts Hutto in the regular season finale.
