‘Gossip Girl’ Reboot Releases Official Trailer Ahead Of Premiere On HBO Max

“Did you miss me? I know I’ve missed you,” the mysterious titular character says in the official trailer for the upcoming Gossip Girl reboot on HBO Max.

Almost a decade after the end of the original series on the CW, the omniscient “Gossip Girl” narrator (Kristen Bell), is back. Her blog is replaced with an Instagram account but her objective is the same, to expose the secrets of privileged upper-class teens in Manhattan. Watch the trailer above.

The series, which debuts July 8, stars Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak and Savannah Lee Smith.

Gossip Girl, developed, written and executive produced by Joshua Safran, is produced by Fake Empire and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios.

Executive producers include Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of Fake Empire, who created the original series based on the novel series of the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar, and Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo of Alloy Entertainment. Lis Rowinski of Fake Empire serves as co-executive producer. Karena Evans directs two episodes, and original costume designer Eric Daman rejoins the series.
