SKOKIE, lll. – A teen was injured after being shot in Skokie Saturday night.
Skokie police said the shooting happened just after 9 p.m. in the area of Keating Avenue and Davis Street.
When officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is listed as stable, according to investigators.
Police said the preliminary investigation indicates the shooting was not random.
The investigation remains ongoing.
