CHICAGO – An investigation is underway after skeletal remains were found in Chicago Sunday afternoon.
Illinois State Police said just before 12:30 p.m., ISP troopers received a call from Chicago police officers regarding skeletal remains that had been found within an embankment area on state property.
The embankment the remains were found near is adjacent to I-90 northbound at Webster Avenue in Chicago, according to investigators.
No other information was released.
