Man fatally shot in Roseland

A man was fatally shot in Roseland Friday night, according to Chicago police.

The man, 35, was sitting in a parked vehicle with a female passenger in the 10600 block of South State Street at 10:37 p.m. when a man approached them and fired shots, police said. The man was shot in the head and died at the scene.

No one is in custody.
